What is Reflexology and how does it work?
Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive therapy based on the principle that the entire body is represented by reflex points on the feet. Each point correspond’s to an individual part of the body and will feel out of balance if there is a physical or emotional condition in that area.
Reflexologists can detect these imbalances and by using gentle stimulation we can revitalise, restore and maintain the body’s natural balance. Treatments will leave you feeling extremely relaxed, and following regular sessions you may notice a reduction in any symptoms that you experience.
Reflexologists believe that when the body is ill, injured or stressed, vital energy pathways are blocked preventing it from functioning optimally. Reflexology is thought to help unblock these pathways encouraging the body to function effectively, increasing energy and feelings of wellbeing.

Reflexology works to balance the whole the body, the nervous system and the hormone system.
Following an initial consultation, the treatment will be tailored to your condition and symptoms.
Depending on your condition, a course of treatments may be recommended with an individualised treatment plan.
After a treatment you should feel deeply relaxed, and experience improved sleep, better mood, increased energy levels and a sense of overall improved wellbeing.
Try to take it easy for an hour or so after reflexology whilst your body starts to respond to this deeply nurturing treatment.
